-our king size bedroom is a lot larger than we expected. the room is clean, air condition works fine... -nice location, it is very close to hollywood blvd, where many bars/clubs around, but we didn't hear much noice at all. -it has one small lift that runs too slow, no hair dryer in the room (I brought my own, maybe they'll have it at the front desk)

The location is great, right at the Hollywood walk of fame. The staff is friendly and the room was clean and plenty space for all three of us. We had a great time and would stay here again. :-)

You get! what you pay for here. One of the cheaper hotels in hollywood. It was very basic and a very old building in the need of a lot of decorative work. However the good points were, the location is fantastic if you want to spend your time on hollywood bulvd, beverly hills,universal studios was one stop on the metro! The rooms were ok, nothing special. Only thing was there were no safes for your valuables or cash so you needed to be careful as hollywood itself is not the best area in LA!

this hotel was the perfect spot if you're heading for the hollywood bowl. you can easily walk there from the hotel. the room had a slightly funny smell, but was comfortable and affordable.

European youth hostel vibe...safe, tree-lined location...convenient to shops and restaurants...basic, tidy room (bring your own hair dryer)...surprisingly quiet. Definitely would stay again.

Positives: front desk was friendly enough & they have comfortable couches in the lobby. free wireless. room was generally clean but could have used some repairs. Negatives: parking lot has 40 spaces, motel has 120 rooms. MATTRESSES are harder than a cement block. NO extra pillows. AC barely cooled 2 feet in front of it; after running on high all night the room was at least 80 degrees still in the morning.

Okay, I know we are staying in a budget motel, but the air conditioner barely works and the mattress is slightly harder than a cement block. We are seriously considering sleeping in the car cuz it's more comfy. To be fair, the room seems pretty clean and they have free wireless. The guy at the front desk was friendly. Even if the parking lot is full (40 spots for 120 rooms), pull into it to unload your bags and use the elevator to take your bags to the lobby. Otherwise, you're stuck lugging them up the front steps.

you have to pay parking on a daily basis and spots are interesting to get into due to duble parking. Otherwise the location to Freeways and Hollywood was great. Would love to have coffee available in evening- but coffee only available for a limited time in mornings.

Ideal location, as it is just around the corner of the 'walk of fame' and the Kodak Theater. Good rooms, only the windows can't be opened, so no fresh air. Staff pretended to be friendly, but that didn't work. No clear explanations were given and the guy was mumbling things we couldn't hear in between his 'sign here' and 'sign there'. Every day you have to obtain a new parking ticket at the lobby to display in your car. Strange you can't buy it for more days at once (especially since they write a date on that label), so don't forget to obtain yours!

Very clean, simple, excellent location. Nothing fancy at all, but comfortable, very low key, and very clean place. Great location if you are looking to explore Hollywood and surrounding areas. You can walk around easily, and it's just a few blocks away from Kodak Theatre, and other attractions. Although internet is not the fastest, it is free. Parking is $10 per day, but avoids hassle of finding a metered parking and overnight worries. Would stay there again.

Great location. Could not open windows because of metal devices preventing us from doing so. Staff was not very friendly and thought that communicating the address and rates of the hotel's rooms to someone on the other line was more urgent than a customer standing right in front of the counter waiting to check in. I's stay there again just because of an awesome location.

All the rooms are apparently being remodeled. The room I stayed in was very new and clean. The contemporary look was nice but the finished wood floor lacked the warm feel of carpeting. Overall not bad for a Motel 6. I checked in early and had to call the front desk as the towels were missing but the staff was reasonably helpful but busy.

Pros were that the room was clean and quiet, and 1/2 block from Hollywood Blvd - a four block walk to Grauman's / Kodak Theater. Cons were that that this 5 story building has hundreds of rooms but not nearly enough underground parking. Most guests are directed to a public garage around the block, which cost $8 for 24 hours.

The price of the room was fine, but there is no mention of the 10 dollar parking fee per night. By the way the lot was full so I had to go to public parking anyway, still $10. The hotel is right near the loud night club action. The staff acted as if there was a velvet rope between you and them. I asked where there was a place to get breakfast. There response, "Down there is Hollywood Blvd. Go right, go left, there's any type of food you want." By the way, they were wrong. There was one diner open that morning about 6 or 7 blocks away.

Front office staff needs to work on customer service. I was there for Saturday morning business, not the place to stay if you want a good nights sleep...it was very loud with Friday night parties from about 6 pm-4 am screaming happy birthday ALL NIGHT! I thought it would never end. But it was ok for the location and price. Just a few blocks to Hollywood blvd, bars, clubs, food, shopping, etc. Def a place to stay if you are going out on the town, not going to bed early.

Just a standard motel really, located right on hollywood boulevard. The area felt safe as there were plenty of people around on the street. Standard and cleanliness of room was fine, but even on the 5th floor, you could hear a lot of noise from the street especially at night, so I had trouble getting to sleep. The laundry room was useful, and also there was free internet.

Very good hotel for the money, right smack in the middle of the Hollywood Boulevard district.

we stayed here over the weekend while travelling round America. the price we paid was really good and its location to hollywood blvd was amazing i would definately recommend this to my friends. Only thing is if you have a car make sure u pay for the parking they have underneath before 12 otherwise its a bit of a walk.

This motel is in a great neighborhood for tourists, lots of things in waking distance, and really cheap parking, and washing machines in the lobby if you need them. It is also a great motel for people on a budget, such as myself.It is obviously a motel 6, but it seemed like a really old one that had not had an update in a while.The beds were ok, but the water pressure was not. The hallway carpet was a little grungy, but the carpet in my room was fine. Everything was very clean, just old. The desk people were quite nice, which is unusual for these types of places. Overall I felt like like I got a great deal for the price, even though they didn't have much in the way of services. For young or broke people who aren't expecting much, this is your place. If you are looking for The Penninsula, yo b nb etter go there instead.

We were just looking for a convenient place to crash after a day of sightseeing. The motel is conveniently located near Hollywood Blvd with many sites, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The room wasn't the cleanest of places. It was quite old with creaking floorboards. There were basically no amenities available. But if you're just looking for a cheap place to crash, you get what you pay for.

When i reached the hotel, surprise, surprise. NO PARKING. I had to pay $10 for parking. Had to spend 30 minutes to find paid parking 1 block away and carry my luggage. If I knew this while booking I would not choose this hotel or be prepared

the air conditioning system is broken

The guy who works in the parking lot was very sarcastic when I asked him about the security of a my car, he just kept on asking me questions instead of answering mine, that happened the night that we arrived at the hotel. Appart from that everything was good.

great hotel .only one thing that was a little problem ,the water pressure in the shower was very low....

Good Location, but the hotel smelling and noisy

found other hotels in similar area which are nicer and similar price but this place is fine to crash. Big rooms and huge beds. Comfortable but with no charachter and limited service but for the price and location I would probably stay again.

Guys do not stay here!!! Especially on a weekend. Spend an extra 20 dollars somewhere else because you are going to waste it on parking anyways, that's if you can find any. We drove around for 1 1/2 hours trying to find parking!!!!!!!!! The parking lot they offered was a joke and not one time during my stay was there any available parking in thier 'customer parking lot'. Front desk was 'ghetto'!!!! Seriously it was such an inconvenience finding parking almost 2 hours of driving around in circles. We were forced to drive 4 blocks down and pay $25 dollar to park our car overnight in private parking lot. Walked 4 blocks to our room at 1am in the morning. Find a room somewhere else guys!

the room smelled a little bit but was, overall, relatively clean and totally decent for the rate. within walking distance of sunset, but on nights when there are major events occurring in the area parking is a little tough to find. you will likely park in the lot adjacent to the hotel for $10. towels and bathroom clean, staff was efficient and friendly.

Don't expect to bask in luxury here. It's a bit tacky inside and the shower wasn't hot enough, but it's clean enough and the service is friendly. The location is great--just a walking distance from the chinese theater in hollywood. If you're on a budget I definitely recommend this place mainly for its location.

Good service, small, inexpensive, basic hotel. Warnings: (1) $10 + valet tips / day to park in the tiny parking garage which is often full (2) No views whatsoever (abuts a condo development) (3) On our visit, the "continental breakfast" was coffee, only. (4) TV reception was horrible.

Filthy room, we actually found an empty beer can under my bed when we checked in. There was also a clump of hair in the shower drain. Towels were few, and paper thin. One pre-requisite for me staying here was the promised complimentary wireless internet service. When I tried to log on with my lap-top it did not work....when I called the front desk to complain they said this sometimes happened, that they would call a technician and it would be fixed "sometime this week"! Of the three nights we stayed there, there was actually a day when the maid did not come turn down the room, even though we left the "maid service requested" sign on the door. The walls, like the towels, were paper thin and it sounded like herds of buffalo were stampeding over us on the ceiling, I had to wear earplugs in order to sleep. To add insult to injury, there was a $10 charge for daily parking (ridiculous) which was first come first serve, and the first night we checked in parking was not available so I had to do street parking, and I then had to wake up at 8:45am to move the car so as to not get a ticket.

I like this hotel. I would like to stay here again for its location. The only problem was the parking. Anyway I am satisfied with this hotels.

We had a hard time checking in because we were not allowed to park in the lot of our own hotel. The parking was a block away. Other than that, it was OK.
