Crowne Plaza City Centre - Manchester

Well located for city centre. Comfortable well equipped rooms. Excellent, helpful and well informed staff. Would stay again.

Great base for our long weekend. 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. Arrived early but staff very helpful and took care of luggage. All staff were great throughout our stay. Modern and well equipped rooms with super bathrooms. Breakfast very nice and kids eat free under 12. A1 location for shopping,bars,Printworks and concert arena. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is very modern and sleek with floor-to-ceiling windows, some of which were tinted yellow. The room had lots of natural light and mirrors which gave an appearance of space and air. The power shower is amazing!! Bed comfortable and all fixtures and fittings new and modern.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza for two nights, whilst attending a concert at M.E.N. which is literally a 5 min walk from the Hotel. On arrival were allocated a connecting room. Phoned reception and guy was up in seconds with replacement room keys and we were moved. Room was fine, albeit a bit dark. Comfy beds, spotless and quiet. Only niggle is that breakfast stops at 11am at the weekend which is not easy to achieve if you have been out partying. Staff very friendly, polite and businesslike. Hotel location is good. Short walk to the major shopping area, cinema and eateries. They don't have a car park but you get a discount if you park at the NCP just along the road which was a surprise.

We booked this hotel as it was close to the m e n arena. It was only 5 mins walk from the station, so no taxis needed. We received a warm welcome and checked in without a hitch. The breakfast was all you could eat buffet style with plenty of fresh coffee or tea. on checkout day they even looked after our luggage while we went shopping. well recommended.

We stayed overnight at the Crowne Plaza and found the hotel to be very comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean and contemporary. The staff were most helpful. I gave the hotel an overall 4 star rating only because I felt slightly let down by the breakfast. It was adequate but did not quite come up to the standard of the rest of the hotel's style. The central location of the Crowne Plaza is fantastic. Two minute walk into centre of town and shops. Three minute walk to the Printworks and further 3 minute walk to the MEN. A 5 minute taxi ride from the train station. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was there for the weekend and i have to say it is probably one of the best hotels in Manchester. The location is great, you're never more than 20 mins walk from anything. The rooms were always kept in tip top condition. I think the fact that its quite new lso gives it an advantage as it is quite modern and very stylish. The staff were very welcoming and made you feel at home from the minute you get there. In essence, its well worth the money and i would defiantly recommend staying there.

Good business hotel, excellent room, free Internet access and Sky Sports. Food good, staff seemed a bit stretched for the breakfast rush and the breakfast overall was average - could do better on this but otherwise good and will use again.

Good city centre location. No car parking (25%discount NCP nearby). Quiet luxurious room. Nice cafe next door for breakfast/snacks.

Only 2 negatives - even though we had a clubroom the shower was unreasonably small and the meal in the restaurant, although very well cooked was extremely small and expensive for what you got and the quality - club lounge was a fab idea well worth ir

Staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us fully enjoy our stay and in fact went out of their way to look after us!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night to celebrate out birthdays, and we were beyond impressed!The rooms were amazing, and were a lot better then we expected. The bed was lovely and comfy, and the bathroom was clean and a good size. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the hotel it self is literally a minutes walk from the Arndale Centre. The only thing that we can say was bad, was that the restuarant was very expensive, as were the bar prices!But we are sure that the food that is offered would have been delicious, and worth the money.
