Location. The Ahotel Princep is located in the centre of Escaldes, within 1.5 kilometres of Caldea with its hot baths, and in the centre of the shopping area. Major ski resorts are 15 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The hotel is a sleek five- storey tower in the centre of Andorra's shopping area. It is designed in a fashionable contemporary style housing a fitness centre, coffee shop and restaurant. Practical hotel amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff and ski storage.

Complimentary breakfast is served daily and the hotel's buffet restaurant serves buffet dishes. The bar- cafeteria offers hot and alcoholic beverages.

Ahotel Princep has meeting rooms, convention halls, banqueting facilities, and wireless Internet access in public areas.

Andorra is one of Europe's biggest ski centres with five resorts; Andorra La Vella, Arcalis, Pal- Arinsal, Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig and Soldeu-El Tarter. The closest slopes to the hotel are 15 kilometres away, and the hotel offers ski storage facilities. A bus runs from Escaldes to a gondola at Encamp, which takes 14 minutes to the Soldeu/Grau Roig/Pas de la Casa area. Helicopter tours can be taken over the mountains, and off-season guests can try out golf courses, quad biking, horse riding and fishing.

Guestrooms. The Ahotel Princep's 50 guestrooms are decorated with flora prints in neutral colours, with contemporary designed furniture and hand basins. All include air conditioning, safes, minibars, satellite television and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Caldea spas, 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, have interiors laid out in a 'Hanging Gardens of Babylon' style with indoor-outdoor pools, fountains and waterfalls, saunas, hammams and massage treatments.

Getting there. Direct minibuses operate from El Prat airport to Andorra.

Getting around. Buses operate between Escaldes and major ski resorts and to a gondola service at Encamp which travels to the ski slopes.

Driving directions. From Barcelona's El Prat airport take the C-58 through Túnel del Cadí and La Seu d'Urgell to Andorra.
