Location. This three-storey resort hotel features traditional chalet-style architecture and is situated within one kilometre of the nearest ski slopes and 17 kilometres from El Tarter. Barcelona Airport is 200 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Club Dorada El Tarter is a ski-in/ski-out property, and the concierge is on hand to offer advice on exploring the surrounding resort. Multilingual staff at the front can offer currency-exchange services. Motorists will find parking facilities on site (surcharge).

The surrounding resort offers many outdoor activities, including downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, dog-sledding, climbing and walking. Canillo is set in the Grandvalira ski area, which offers 193 kilometres of slopes, 64 ski lifts and 972 snow cannons.

Guestrooms. The hotel's 45 apartments are traditionally decorated and furnished in white and earth colours, and open onto balconies. All come equipped with satellite television, clock radios and kitchens with cookware, microwaves and coffee/tea-making facilities. Bathrooms include bidets and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip.The Grotte de Niaux caves are 27 kilometres from the hotel and feature prehistoric paintings thought to date back to 12,000 BC.
