Location. Adjacent the Alhambra Casino, the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort is just five kilometers from the capital city of Oranjestad in Palm Beach, Aruba. Enjoying a beachfront location, the resort is conveniently located near some of the islands most popular attractions, including the world's largest miniature golf course and a fascinating butterfly sanctuary. Many restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs exist in downtown Orangjestad. Low humidity and infrequent rain make for a near perfect climate that compliments some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Active pursuits include golfing, tennis, horseback riding, biking, scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing.

Guestrooms. Surrounded by parks, looming palms and a picturesque coastline, the resort offers on site dining by way of the Sunset Beach Bistro Restaurant and Bar. Positioned beachside, the restaurant serves American fare and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Internet access is available for a fee in the lobby and the multilingual staff provides concierge, dry cleaning and business services. The resort features two lagoon-style pools, a jetted tub, a modern fitness center and access to a plethora of water sports. A full-service spa is located on site and there is a jogging trail meandering about the property. Video rentals are available and tour assistance is provided. Child care can be arranged for a fee.

Guestrooms. All guestrooms feature private balconies and kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and ranges. In-room safes, cable television and VCRs are standard.

Expert Tip. Snorkeling is particularly fabulous on the leeward (western) coast of the island, with shipwrecks, sunken planes and coral reefs waiting to be explored.

Leaving the airport, turn left and follow Route 1A through a traffic circle.
Exit at the third right and continue through downtown Oranjestad.
Turn left onto J.E. Irausquin Boulevard at the stoplight by the Ing Fatum building.
Continue driving to the high-rise-hotel district.
The resort is the first high-rise building on the left.
Approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 8 miles.
