The Hilton Addis Ababa is a modern high-rise hotel with traditional touches, located on a 15-acre site in the centre of Ethiopia's capital city. The hotel's 365 guestrooms feature modern decor and balconies with pool or mountain views; in-room amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections, desks and in-room safes, while bathrooms come equipped with toiletries and hair dryers.
Guests can swim in the outdoor, cross-shaped, naturally heated pool, enjoy a game of tennis and squash, join an aerobics class or work out in the gym, where instructors are on hand to offer fitness advice. Less energetic guests can relax in the saunas, steam bath and spa tub or indulge in a rejuvenating massage. Families with children will benefit from the four kids' pools, play area, crazy golf, birthday parties and babysitting service. Dining options include a pizzeria, a pool-side barbecue restaurant and an American-style coffee shop that holds theme evenings. Trinity Cathedral is one kilometre away and Merkato, reputed to be the largest open-air market in Africa, is five kilometres from the hotel. Bole International Airport is eight kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes. Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport.
