Perched on the shore-side hills of Cat Island, Bahamas, Hawk's Nest Resort & Marina blends a natural tropical feel with bright, colorful accommodations. The hotel is just minutes from the village attractions of New Bight, including the castle-like Hermitage Monastery built by Father Jerome, a priest who came to the Bahamas in 1903 to help rebuild cathedrals after a hurricane swept the islands. Cat Island offers other attractions of island geography such as the stalagmites of Cartwright's Cave or the sparkling shallows of Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park.
Getting to Hawk's Nest Resort can be a fun direct-route trip, as the resort features a 28-slip marina and its own private airstrip. The waters around the marina are prime spots for fishing for the crafty Bone Fish, and deep sea charters depart regularly. The Hawk's Nest Resort serves daily catches and the finest prime cuts at the seaside dining area. Shakey's Bar, which overlooks the marina's entrance, serves tropical drinks until the last guest retires for the night. Located on a sliver of land jutting out from the main island, the shores of Hawk's Nest are isolated from the rest of Cat Island.

All guestrooms at the Hawk's Nest Resort are seaside bungalows or suites. Accommodations feature palm tree landscaping and cheery, contemporary furnishings from designer lines such as Henry Link.
