Location. The Caesar Park Ipanema is positioned at the midpoint of Ipanema's beachfront boulevard in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This impressive property is located two blocks from the shops of Rua Visconde de Pirajá and three blocks from the restaurants and nightspots of Rua Barao da Torre.
Hotel Features. Expansive windows with clear views of Rio de Janeiro's active street scene wrap two sides of the hotel's lobby. A jewelry store resides just beyond the reception area. Galani's rooftop restaurant offers superb views from the 23rd floor that accompany their equally prized Brazilian and Italian cuisine. The national dish, feijoada, is served one afternoon during the weekend. Agraz is the hotel's lobby-level restaurant that serves sophisticated international fare at dinnertime, only. A staffed business center has four workstations and high-speed Internet access. The health club boasts city, beach and mountain views, and contains a fitness room, sauna and steam room.

Guestrooms. This 23-story hotel has 222 partial-ocean view, soundproofed guestrooms and suites. All offer high-speed Internet access, cable television with international channels, and dial-up Internet access. Furnishings include desks, minibars, valet stands, and safes. Bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations, telephones, magnifying mirrors, and robes.

Expert Tip. Toca do Vinicius, a music store dedicated to poet/lyricist Vinicius de Moraes and Brazilian music of the 1960s and 1970s. Located less than three blocks from the hotel, this shop sells CDs, sheet music, books about Brazilian popular music and also stages weekly performances. Garota de Ipanema, down the block, is the bar where Vinicius de Moraes and Antônio Carlos Jobim first noticed the woman who inspired their famous song "The Girl from Ipanema."
