From Aalborg Airport (AAL): Distance to Hotel Herman Bang is 65 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available in front of the airport's main entrance and cost about 500 DKK directly to Hotel Herman Bang. Alternatively, take a taxi to Lindholm station, situated three kilometres from the airport. From Lindholm station, take the train to Frederikshavn train station.
Getting around. The compact town of Frederikshavn is easily negotiated on foot. The town's train station connects it to the rest of Denmark. Ferries in the harbour connect to Norway and further afield.
Driving directions. From Aalborg Airport. Take the E45 north to Fredrikshavn. After arriving in the city centre, pass the harbour and turn left at the second street, Tordenskjoldsgade Street. Hotel Herman Bang is on the right hand side after 200 metres.
