From Frankfurt Airport (FRA): Distance to Tulip Inn Hanau is 36 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. There are two passenger railway stations at Frankfurt airport: the Fernbahnof (long-distance) station and the Regional train station. Both can be accessed by a Sky Line monorail or a shuttle bus. Lines S8 and S9 of the S-Bahn go to the Hauptbahnhof (central station) and the city centre. Railway services connect to Hanau station, one kilometre from the hotel. Taxis direct to the hotel cost about 60 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. There are bus services throughout Hanau, which can be paid for using mobile phones in a system similar to London's Oyster. The city centre of Hanau is easily explored on foot. Cycling is a popular form of transport, and many streets have cycle lanes. Taxis can be hailed in the street.
Driving directions. From Frankfurt Airport, head east on the A3 towards Wurzburg/Frankf.-Sud. Take Exit 54-Hanau onto the B45 towards Fulda/Hainburg and continue on the B43. At a roundabout, take the fourth exit onto Willy-Brandt=-Strasse. Turn right at Alfred- Delp-Strasse and left at Freigerichstrasse before a slight left at Leipziger Strasse and left onto Kurt-Baum-Platz, where the hotel is found.
