Beschreibung

Location. The Hotel Klosterhof is located in Dresden, Germany, within six kilometres of the Church of Our Ladies, Dresden Castle, and Green Vault. Dresden's historical city centre is five kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Housed in a historical 11th- century building, this family-run hotel features a monastery courtyard. Use of the sauna is available to guests of the Klosterhof, and there are complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Wireless Internet access is offered throughout the hotel. Bicycle rentals are available on site.

Saxon cuisine and international dishes are offered at the Klosterschaenke restaurant. Drinks are served at the Klosterbar.

Guestrooms. The 26 guestrooms are located on three floors of the hotel. Amenities include satellite television, direct-dial phones, and writing desks. Bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Decor is classical with neutral tones, white bedspreads, and dark brown wooden furnishings.

Expert Tip. The Green Vault, known as a walk-in treasure chest, is a museum that contains the largest collection of treasures in Europe. Exhibits include pieces from the baroque to classicism eras. There are nine rooms, each with its own exhibition theme.

Distance to Hotel Klosterhof is 15 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The airport has an underground railway station with shuttle trains to the city centre. The S-Bahn station is located on the terminal building's lower level. The fare for a single ticket is around 2 EUR, and the journey time is 20 minutes. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. An airport coach departs every 30 minutes for the city centre, and the fare is around 15 EUR. Bus numbers 77 and 97 run towards the city centre every 10 minutes; alight at Infineon Nord and take a tram into the centre. The fare is about 2 EUR for a single ticket. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Dresden operates an integrated, comprehensive public transport system of suburban trains, trams and buses. Ferries run along the river Elbe, and a funicular railway runs between Loschwitz, the Weisser Hirsch, and Oberloschwitz.

Alternative zur Innenstadt

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in einem alten Dorfkern. Mit dem Bus ist die Innenstadt Dresdens jedoch gut und preiswert erreichbar.
