Location. The ACHAT Plaza Herzog am Dom Hotel is located in Regensburg, Germany, next to St. Peter Cathedral, and within 200 metres of the old stone bridge, and Porta Praetoria. Regensburg main train station is 900 metres away.
Hotel Features. This design hotel features a terraced bistro, sauna, meeting room, and bar. Wireless Internet access is available (surcharge), there are dry cleaning services, and drivers will find parking nearby.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is available daily to guests of the Herzog am Dom. International snacks, and drinks are served at the bistro, and in summer guests can dine on the terrace overlooking the cathedral.

Horse riding, tennis, climbing, and bowling are offered close to the hotel.

Guestrooms. The 45 air-conditioned guestrooms offer minibars, satellite television, direct- dial phones, and Internet connections (surcharge). Further amenities include writing desks, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries, and decor is light and modern.

From Munich Airport (MUC):
Distance to ACHAT Hotel Herzog Am Dom is 85 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The airport's train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 and S1 S-Bahn trains leave every 20 minutes for Munich's main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is about 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. The Lufthansa Airport bus runs to the Hauptbahnhof every 20 minutes, and the single fare is 9.50 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost around 55-65 EUR. Trains run to Regensburg train station, 900 metres from the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Much of Munich's city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. The city's integrated public transport system includes buses, trams, S-Bahn commuter trains, and U-Bahn underground trains. Tickets cover all modes of public transport. Taxis wait at ranks around the city, but can be expensive. Trains run from the Hauptbahnhof to other German towns and the Bavarian countryside.
