Location. Along the Dominican Republic's Amber Coast the Grand Oasis Marien Resort All Inclusive offers travelers to the Caribbean an all-inclusive vacation in a family-friendly yet romantic setting. 13 miles from Puerto Plata International Gregorio Luperón Airport, this resort is a short distance from the Victorian city of Puerto Plato.
Hotel Features. The beaches of the Atlantic are but one feature of the Grand Oasis Marien Resort All Inclusive. Water and land sports including windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, tennis and volleyball are standard, but the pool sets this resort apart. Shaped like a Y with a large garden island, this grand pool is the centerpiece of the resort and includes special areas for children.

Kidz Paradise offers kids ages four to 12 their own pool, playground and supervised activities while parents have fun in the sun or visit the Kin Ha Spa for a massage. As the sun sets, the hotel offers evening dancing and theatrical shows.

The resort's dining options include Mare for seafood and El Cayuco, serving international fare buffet-style with themed dinners each evening. La Guama has a casual beachside buffet during the daylight hours and in the evening transforms to El Charro for formal Mexican fare. Above the Tubano Bar, the Caribbean Grill is not part of the all-inclusive plan but offers all-you-can-eat dinners at a modest price.

Guestrooms. The warmth of the island is reflected in the 584 guestrooms at the Grand Oasis Marien. Terra cotta-tile floors and orange and green fabrics contrast the cool breeze from the balcony. Standard amenities include air conditioning, cable television and mini refrigerator stocked with beer, sodas and bottled water.
