The 11-story JW Marriott Hotel in Quito rises dramatically from the Avenida Amazonas, visible from several points in the city. This luxury hotel puts travelers within walking distance of the city's exclusive business and shopping districts. Guests also are short cab rides from the world-renewed charms of the Old City. The renowned historical center is only 10 miles from the hotel and is home to museums, preserved churches and monasteries.
Guests are greeted by a hotel bathed in light, thanks to huge windows and transparent roofs that lend a natural ambience to the place. The cascading waterfall certainly doesn't detract from the atmosphere.

Hungry guests will find plenty of dining options in the area, including the Marriott's bistro-style cafe serving Ecuadorian dishes and international cuisine, another restaurant dishing up Mediterranean fare, and a sushi bar. And there's always room service.
