Location. The modern Arden Hotel is located in Solihull, near Birmingham, England. It is one mile from Birmingham International Airport and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
Hotel Features. The canopied entrance to the hotel leads into a contemporary marble-floored lobby. There's wireless Internet access throughout the hotel (surcharge). Parking at the hotel is complimentary.

The Arden Hotel's Burgundy Restaurant serves European cuisine like salmon gravlax with basil fritters in a smart setting decorated with rich terracotta and cream colours. The sunken Lounge Bar offers light meals, snacks and drinks. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or a snack in the informal Meeting Place. The hotel has a spacious pillared breakfast area.

Small groups can be accommodated in the hotel's flexible meeting rooms. Wireless Internet access (surcharge), audiovisual equipment and a conference coordinator are all available.

The Arden Hotel has a well-equipped leisure club, offering a gym overlooking indoor swimming pool. There's a sauna, steam room and a jetted tub. The hotel also has two full-size pool and snooker tables.

Guestrooms. Decorated in warm cream tones and bright fabrics, the 216 guestrooms feature satellite television, dial-up Internet connections and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Expert Tip. It's just ten miles from the hotel near Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of Shakespeare.

From Birmingham International Airport (BHX):
Distance to Arden Hotel is 1 mile, approximately 5 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A free Skyrail monorail runs every couple of minutes from Terminal 1 to Birmingham International's train station and the city's National Exhibition Centre (NEC). Black cabs are available 24 hours a day from an official rank in front of the airport passenger terminals. Buses link the surrounding areas to the airport.

Getting around. The hotel is in Solihull, one mile from the NEC and the airport. There is an extensive bus and train network in Birmingham city centre, and a tram runs between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. The centre can easily be explored on foot but a car is advised to get around the surrounding area. The hotel offers complimentary parking.

Driving directions. From Birmingham International Airport:
Follow the signs for Birmingham International Railway Station.
Take the A45 at the second roundabout.
Turn left at the next roundabout onto the A45 towards Coventry.
The hotel is immediately on the left after the petrol station.
