The Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill in Dudley is a large modern property situated on the waterfront and overlooking the Canal Marina. It is located half a mile from the Merry Hill shopping complex, and 12 miles from the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. There are a total of 138 guestrooms all of which are characterised by traditional decor of natural wood and pastel shades. Guestrooms benefit from direct-dial phones, and are equipped with dial-up Internet connections, minibars and cable television with pay movies.
Faraday's Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving British and French cuisine and offering views over the waterfront. Hot and cold meals and light bites are also available in Faraday's Bar which has an open plan layout with a large bar and seating areas. Active guests can visit the health and leisure club 'Le Club' for a swim in the indoor pool or a workout on the fitness equipment; those seeking relaxation can enjoy its sauna, spa bath and steam room; in addition there is also a solarium, dance studio and beauty therapist. There are eight function rooms suitable for meetings and events, the largest of which has a capacity of 570 people. The hotel offers a same day laundry and dry cleaning service, and free parking for guests. The cultural attractions of Dudley are two miles from the hotel and include its castle, zoo, and the Black Country Living Museum. Appreciators of art may enjoy a trip to the Barber Institute of Fine Art eight miles away. The hotel is approximately 28 miles or a 55-minute drive from Birmingham International Airport.

Anfahrt

Skyrail links the airport directly to Birmingham International Train Station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). It runs every two minutes from Terminal 1. Black cabs provide a 24-hour service from the official rank outside the airport passenger terminals. National Express coach services connect the Airport with Dudley.
From Birmingham Airport turn left onto Coventry Road/A45 and then head towards N.E.C on the M42. Leave at Exit 7 and join the M6 for 15 miles. Leave the M6 at Exit 9 and head towards Dudley on the A461. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Peartree Lane. Turn left onto Pedmore Road/A4036 and at the roundabout take the third exit onto Level Street, and then turn right onto the Waterfront on where the hotel is located.
