Location. The Beach Hotel is located in Brighton, England, 50 metres from the seafront directly overlooking the West Pier, and within one mile of attractions including Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, and The Lanes. Brighton railway station is one mile from the hotel, with regular services to Gatwick Airport.
Hotel Features. The Beach Hotel is a Regency building dating from 1828. The lobby provides wireless Internet and a 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff offers express check-in and check-out, and a safe-deposit box. Parking is available on the opposite side of the square (surcharge).

Converted in 1930 from a jewellery shop, the Regency Restaurant at the Beach Hotel specialises in locally caught seafood, including lobster, oysters, Dover sole, and sea bass. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in a dining area with sea views.

The beach offers water sports from sailing to windsurfing. The nearest golf course is three miles away at East Brighton Golf Club.

Guestrooms. The 32 guestrooms at the Beach Hotel reflect traditional Regency-style architecture with modern furniture and fixtures. Amenities include televisions, direct-dial phones, desks, coffee and tea- making facilities, and refrigerators. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, bathtubs, and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Brighton's Grade I listed West Pier was built in 1866, originally with six ornamental houses of oriental design, before a bandstand and concert hall were added. The pier was closed in 1975 but remains a major landmark.

From London Gatwick Airport (LGW):
Distance to the Beach Hotel is 28 miles, approximately 35 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Railway services run directly from Gatwick Airport to Brighton, where the station is one mile from the hotel. Single train fares are available for around 8 GBP. A taxi from the station costs around 5 GBP and direct from the airport around 35 GBP. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Brighton is small enough to be explored on foot. There are also extensive bus services, with a daily bus pass costing around 2.80 GBP, price subject to change. Rail services run regularly from Brighton to London Victoria.

Driving directions. From London Gatwick Airport, head south on the A23/London Road and continue to follow signs towards Brighton on the A23.
Turn right at A270/New England Road and then continue on B2122/New England Road.
Turn left at A259/Kings Road and then turn left onto Regency Square, where the hotel is found.
