Beschreibung


The Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel is an elegant Victorian building set next to the 14th-15th century Gothic cathedral and adjacent to Bristol's historic waterfront. This seven-floor hotel features 242 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which are decorated in a modern style with bright, patterned bedding and dark wood furniture, and include cable TV, Internet connections and minibars.
After a day's sightseeing, guests can enjoy a drink in the Champagne Bar or College Green Sports Bar; traditional English afternoon tea is available in the lounge. Dining options include the grand Michael Caine's Restaurant with its stone arches and balconies, and the less formal Terrace Restaurant. Guests also enjoy access to the hotel's Roman-themed indoor leisure centre with 15-metre indoor pool, gymnasium, spa bath, steam room, and health & beauty salon. There are 21 meeting rooms on site, the largest of which can accommodate up to 300 people; a range of business and banqueting facilities can also be arranged on request. Staff at the 24-hour front desk provide a safe-deposit box service and the concierge can advise on local sightseeing opportunities. The Gothic Cathedral is just next door, and the Theatre Royal, City Museum and Art Gallery and famous Clifton Suspension Bridge are within a mile of the hotel. Bristol Airport is 4.5 miles away.

The Bristol International Flyer coach links runs between Bristol Temple Meads railway station, Bristol bus station and the airport. The journey time is around 30 minutes and he service runs every day except Christmas Day & Boxing Day every 30 minutes 5.30 AM - 10.30 PM. Adult single costs 4 GBP. Taxis are also available at the airport and cost approximately 15 GBP. Temple Meads Train Station is within a mile of the hotel. Bristol city centre is compact and best explored on foot. There is also a good public bus network.

Miserables Verhältnis Preis/Leistung

Zimmerheizung bei Minus 10 Aussentemperatur defekt. Nicht besonders sauber. Bestelltes Zweibettzimmer nicht bei Ankunft vorhanden.
