Beschreibung

Location. The Redwood Hotel and Country Club is located in Failand, Bristol, England, within three miles of Bristol city centre. Ashton Court estate is one mile away and Bristol Temple Meads station is four miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in 16 acres of woodland countryside, this modern country club hotel is housed in a historic building and offers a health club with a two- storey gym, exercise and dance studios, three saunas and steam rooms. The salon offers massages, facials and aromatherapy. There is an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool is open during the summer months.

Redwood Hotel's Garden Restaurant features a stone fireplace, beamed ceiling with roof windows and a minstrel's gallery. The Time Out Restaurant and Bar offers informal dining and includes a terrace with views of the tree-lined gardens and pool.

There are 12 conference rooms and a business centre. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas.

Redwood Hotel also offers tennis, squash and badminton courts and an outdoor children's pool (open May to October).

Guestrooms. All 112 guestrooms at the Redwood Hotel and Country Club feature bathrooms and showers, satellite television, wireless Internet access, trouser presses and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Visitors can step back in time aboard SS Great Britain - one of the world's first ocean liners. The first class dining saloon has been recreated and there are audio tours of passengers' lives, bringing the 19th-century experience alive.

From Bristol Airport (BRS):
Distance to Redwood Hotel and Country Club is 10 miles, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A coach service, the Bristol International Flyer, runs between the airport and Bristol Temple Meads train station, four miles from the hotel. Journeys take about 30 minutes and coaches depart every 30 minutes. Services operate daily, excluding Christmas and Boxing Day, from 5.30 a.m. - 10.30 p.m. Single adult tickets cost 5 GBP. Taxis cost 15 GBP directly to the Redwood Hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Bristol is best explored by foot. The city is served by a good bus network. Trains run between Bristol Temple Meads station and Cardiff, Bath, Swindon, Exeter and London.
