The Washington Hotel in Bristol, a proud chapter of the Clifton Group, the city's only independently owned hotel group, is a business-class property with the spirit of a luxury boutique. Located less than ten miles from the Bristol International Airport, this charming hotel places guests within easy-reach of city-center shopping and metropolitan attractions.
To the delight of business and leisure travelers alike, the hotel provides complimentary full-English breakfasts each morning, and a host of property amenities that range from personal services like dry cleaning to professional facilities like business conference rooms.
As patrons of the Washington, guests have access to a fully equipped gymnasium, health center, and Olympic- sized pool at Clifton College, a 16th century public school set amid trees and spires in Bristol, just over one-half mile from the hotel. Additionally, Clifton Group offers versatile restaurants, four bars and two conference rooms, across the four hotels.
The Washington Hotel, Bristol, is elegantly furnished with modern hotel amenities and an interest in contemporary design. Once a large and grand private house, the bedrooms still retain high ceilings and the original floor to ceiling windows that gave the spaces such life and character. Each of the 46 guestrooms has an atmosphere that lends itself to a comfortable and memorable sojourn. Anfahrt

The Bristol International Flyer coach links the airport, Bristol bus station and Bristol Temple Meads railway station. Taxis are also available and the journey to the hotel should cost around £20. Bristol city center is compact and most shops and tourist attractions can be reached comfortably on foot. There is also a good public bus network.
Driving directions: From the airport, join the A38 and follow the signs for Clifton Suspension Bridge. Go over the bridge and continue past the Student Union building. Go straight through the roundabout and the hotel is on the left.
