The Park Inn Cardiff is a modern hotel with easy access to the M4 motorway, four miles from Cardiff's historic city centre. The 132 guestrooms feature modern decor with light wood furniture and patterned fabrics. All include satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, wireless Internet access, minibars, safes hair dryers and coffee/tea makers.
The hotel's Avenue Bar and Restaurant features primary- coloured walls that brighten up the informal space, and features a carvery buffet and a varied à la carte menu. Light meals and drinks are also available in the adjoining bar lounge. Guests receive free access to the Leisure Suite where they can work out in the fitness centre, swim laps in the indoor pool, and unwind in the sauna, spa bath and steam room. Business travellers can use 11 fully equipped conference rooms, seating up to 290 delegates, and there is wireless Internet access throughout the hotel for those with laptops. Guests can also enjoy nightcaps in the informal bar lounge, and play a game of pool, while practical amenities include a 24- hour front desk, concierge services, all-hours room service, and free parking for those arriving by car. The hotel is well placed for exploring Cardiff and its sights; nearby attractions include the city centre featuring Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Centre and Stadium, which are all four miles away. Cardiff International Airport is 25 miles from the hotel, a 25- minute drive.

Anfahrt

Taxis are available from the airport; typical fare to the hotel is 25 GBP. The National Express Coach Service operates regular direct services to Cardiff Central Bus Station. From here, guests can catch a taxi or another bus to the hotel. Airbus X91 dedicated airport service, supplemented by service number 95, operates between Cardiff's city centre and the airport. Service 345 operates hourly, Monday to Saturday during the evenings. Service X5 operates every two hours on Sundays. Adult single tickets for all these services cost approximately 3 GBP and journey time is 40 minutes. The best way to get around Cardiff is by bus or taxi. Prices of bus routes vary with the time of day and according to the number of zones you want to travel in. Taxis are usually easy to find, especially in the busy shopping areas, and most cab fares within Cardiff range from 4 GBP to 8 GBP. The most prominent taxi ranks are at the rail and bus station and at St. David's Hall.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A48 motorway towards Newport, turning off at the Llanedeyrn exit. At the first roundabout take the first exit, and at the second roundabout take the third exit. The hotel is on the right.

Gerne wieder

Hotel in Ordnung, nur etwas außerhalb vom Stadt-Center, aber sehr gute Busverbindung in der Nähe (Haltestelle nur wenige Minuten entfernt).
