From Edinburgh Airport (EDI): Distance to Hotel Number Ten is 7 miles, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. From the airport, Airlink 100 operates express bus services to the city centre. Buses run every 10 minutes and depart from the bus station next to the terminal. An open-return pass costs 5 GBP. The N22 night bus runs between midnight and 4 a.m. Taxis wait at a rank next to the terminal, and cost approximately 16 GBP to the hotel, depending on traffic and time of day. Waverley, Edinburgh's main railway station, is half a mile from the hotel and a taxi to the hotel costs approximately 7 GBP. All prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Edinburgh city centre is best explored in foot and driving is not recommended for visitors because of the complex one-way systems. The city is served by a good bus network and there are hop- on, hop-off stops for city bus tours throughout central Edinburgh. Black cabs can be hailed in the streets. Regular trains leave Waverley train station for Glasgow and other major destinations throughout Scotland and England
Driving directions. From Edinburgh Airport, follow signs towards the city centre. As soon as you arrive on Princes Street and see the castle on your right, turn left into Charlotte Square. At bottom turn right onto Queen Street and then take first left and first left again onto Heriot Row. Turn right onto India Street and Gloucester Place is at the bottom where the hotel is found.
