The Abode Exeter, with its Victorian architecture, is Exeter's oldest hotel and is situated in a peaceful area of the city centre opposite the cathedral and 500 metres from Exeter Museum. The hotel features 55 air-conditioned guestrooms with stylish decor in soft shades of cream and beige. All rooms are equipped with wall-mounted LCD televisions with cable channels, complimentary high-speed Internet, DVD players, direct-dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities, safes, premium bedding, and bathrooms with hair dryers.
After a day of sightseeing guests can ease aching muscles with a massage or relax over drinks in the Champagne Bar or coffee shop. The Café Bar serves a variety of international dishes in a bright modern setting with a relaxed atmosphere. Alternatively MC Fine Dining offers modern European food, from a seasonal menu, in a formal setting with views of the cathedral. The business centre is equipped with conference rooms, banquet facilities and exhibit space, and parking costs six pounds per 24 hours. Further amenities include a fitness room, concierge, 24- hour front desk and room service. Guests can visit Pheonia Art Centre 500 metres away, enjoy the Quayside attractions half a mile away, or enjoy a day out at Crealy Adventure Park, seven miles away. Exeter Airport is nine miles away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Anfahrt

Regular trains connect with Exeter Central, 200 metres from the hotel. Taxis to the hotel, available outside the terminal, cost 12 to 14 GBP.
Driving directions: (If using satellite navigation, use the following postcode to direct you to the entrance to Cathedral Yard: EX1 1DZ.)
From the airport turn right on to the B3284.
At the roundabout take the second exit towards Exeter.
Continue over the roundabouts in the direction to Exeter city centre.
Follow the B3183 sign posted 'Hospital, City Centre'.
At the roundabout take the second exit on to Paris Street - B3183 sign posted 'Civic Centre'.
At the traffic lights continue along this road towards Tiverton.
At the mini roundabout bear left on to New North Road B3183 to Crediton.
At Clock Tower Roundabout take the first exit on to Queen Street.
At the top of North Street, head straight across and take the first left (next to Urban Surfer).
Push the button at the bollard and identify yourself as an Abode resident. You are now in Cathedral Yard.
Follow the road to the left and Abode Exeter is at the bottom of this road on the left-hand side.

Please note: As this is a city centre hotel, it does not offer parking at the hotel. However, guests are able to drive up to the front of the hotel and get assistance with offloading luggage. Guests are offered concessionary car park tickets to a local multi-storey (5-minute walk) at 6 GBP for 24 hours.

Superlage im Zentrum an der Kathedrale

In der Kategorie "Comfortable" sind die Zimmer sehr klein, aber, wie der Name schon sagt, comfortabel. allerdings nichts um lange im Zimmer rumzusitzen. Die Lage im Stadtzentrum ist hingegen superzentral, sehr schön.
