Location. The Queens Hotel is located in Leeds, England, within one mile of Leeds Grand Theatre and the Royal Armouries Museum. Leeds City Station is 100 metres away.
Hotel Features. Located on City Square in central Leeds, the Queens Hotel is set in a landmark eight-storey stone building boasting original Art Deco interiors. Complimentary newspapers are available in the 24-hour, air-conditioned lobby and doorman is available at the front of the hotel. There is also a hair salon on site.

The Restaurant at the Queens is on the lower ground floor and serves traditional Yorkshire dishes. Here is a bar on the ground floor, serving cocktails in an Art Deco style setting beneath a chandeliered ceiling.

Wireless Internet access is available around the clock in public areas. Conference rooms are available and there is a dedicated business centre.

Guestrooms. There are 217 air- conditioned guestrooms decorated in deep, rich colours at the Queens Hotel. Rooms all feature satellite television with pay movies, consoles and two hours of complimentary Internet access per day. Amenities include minibars, safes and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. The Royal Armouries museum is one mile from the hotel. The museum is home to the national collection of arms and armour and features five theme-galleries: War, Tournament, Self-Defence, Hunting, and Arms and Armour of the Orient.

From Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA):
Distance to Queen Hotel is 12 miles, approximately 40 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 757 bus runs between the airport and Leeds city centre train station (100 metres from the hotel) every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 2 GBP. There are taxis outside the terminal, costing approximately 20 GBP to Queens Hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Leeds city centre can be explored easily by foot, and free buses are available within the city centre. Leeds station has trains running to destinations in West Yorkshire. These include Wakefield, Sheffield, Huddersfield and York. Hiring a car is useful for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Nettes Hotel doch bisschen schmuddelig

Grundsätzlich ein ganz gutes Hotel, doch vier Sterne sind nicht europaeischer Standard hier. Wie schon die Aussenfassade ist es auch innen etwas ueberholungsbeduerftig. Alle vier Sterne Annehmlichkeiten (Mini-Bar, Safe, ...) waren vorhanden. Der Concierge war auch immer sehr zuvorkommend, als ich auf meinen verschwundenen Koffer wartete. Doch nach Dienstwechsel waren meine Bitten um Verstaendigung usw. wieder verschwunden. Zimmer echt riesig, doch genauer in die Ecken im Bad usw. sollte man nicht schauen.
