Location. The Paddington Court Rooms is located in London, England, within one mile of Hyde Park and Marble Arch, and three miles from Big Ben. Paddington train and underground station is less than half a mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Situated in the lively Paddington district, amenities at the Paddington Court Rooms include complimentary Internet connections, complimentary newspapers, and a safe-deposit box at the front desk. Multilingual staff operating the 24-hour front desk, can assist with concierge services, room service, and laundry facilities.

There is no restaurant at the hotel, but dining options are provided within the hotel's vicinity.

Guestrooms. There are 21 guestrooms situated over four floors, all of which have light, neutral decor and antique-style furnishings. Rooms are equipped with complimentary Internet connections, satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, refrigerators, and tea and coffee facilities. Bathrooms include hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. London's fashionable Notting Hill, located one mile from the hotel, isn't just famous for the film starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. It is also home to the street carnival which has taken place every August since 1966. A celebration of Caribbean music and culture, the carnival is the second biggest of its kind, beaten only by Rio, and has been known to attract up to two million people.

From London Heathrow Airport (LHR):
Distance to Paddington Court Room is 15 miles, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Heathrow Express train is the quickest way into London. It departs from the airport every 15 minutes, and takes 15 minutes to reach Paddington Station in central London. The journey is non-stop and costs 14.50 GBP. Paddington is on the Hammersmith and City, District and Circle, and Bakerloo lines of London's Underground (Tube). Additionally, the airport is on the Piccadilly line of the Underground, which runs directly to Kings Cross, Leicester Square, Knightsbridge, and Green Park underground stations. The journey to central London takes approximately one hour, and trains depart every 10 minutes. A one-day travel pass costs 6.30 GBP, including travel to Heathrow (in zone 6). Black taxis cost approximately 35 GBP to the hotel. Coaches operate to London Victoria and the rest of the UK, and the airport is also served by local buses. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The London Underground (Tube) and buses are the easiest ways to travel within London. Single tickets are expensive, but an electronic Oyster card offers a cheaper fare. Oyster cards can be purchased from ticket offices for 3 GBP (refundable). Daily or weekly travel passes are the most economical way to travel, and are valid on buses, trams, trains, and DLR, as well as on the Underground. Black taxis are available on the streets, but can be expensive. Driving is not recommended for visitors and a congestion charge zone is operated in central London.
