The Hilton Nottingham is a grand, six-storey red- brick Victorian building located in Nottingham city centre, adjacent to the main shopping area and five miles from Sherwood Forest. The 177 guestrooms all include satellite television with pay movies and video games, Internet connections, tea and coffee- making facilities, desks, trouser presses and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Guests can swim in the 18.5-metre indoor pool, the largest hotel pool in Nottingham, or work out in the fully equipped gym, where trained instructors are on hand to offer fitness advice. Less energetic guests can relax in the spa, sauna and steam room. In the evenings, guests can enjoy contemporary international fare in the restaurant or relax with a drink in the hotel bar. Staff at the concierge desk will help guests get the most from the surrounding area, and the hotel houses an onsite florist, newsagent and foreign currency exchange. The business centre offers meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment and secretarial services. Practical hotel amenities include laundry facilities, a safe-deposit box and 24-hour room service. Secure parking facilities are available on site (surcharge). Numerous tourist attractions, including the Tales of Robin Hood interactive exhibition, Nottingham Castle, the Caves and the Lace Market, can be found within one mile of the hotel. Sherwood Forest, home of the legendary Robin Hood, is five miles away. East Midlands Airport is 14 miles away, with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.

Anfahrt

Skylink buses run regularly from the airport to the city centre. Taxis are available from the airport (typical fare approx (15 GBP). Green taxis can be flagged down and the rates are set by the council. The city centre has a bus network and a tram system.
Driving directions: From the airport, take A453 then M1, north to junction 25. Take the A52, turn right at the second island, continue straight over the third, and take the second exit at the fourth. At the top of the hill, follow signs for City Centre and Royal Centre, left around the one-way system. The hotel is straight ahead.

sehr schmutzig

ich habe noch nie ein so schmutziges 4 Sterne Hotel erlebt. Durch die Scheiben konnte man nicht durchschauen die Gardinen waren grau vor Dreck und vom Bad nicht zu reden
