The Copthorne Hotel Plymouth, located in the city center, Plymouth in southeast England, provides convenient accommodations in this port city on the Plymouth Sound. The hotel features sweeping views of Plymouth, a large public space adjacent to the seafront where Sir Francis Drake is believed to have gone lawn bowling prior to his famous assault on the Spanish Armada. The Hoe, as it's locally known, offers magnificent views across Plymouth Sound, of Drake's Island, and across the Hamoaze to Mount Edgcumbe Park in Cornwall.
