The New Continental Hotel is a Victorian, grade II listed building situated in Plymouth city centre, only 0.5 miles from the stunning Cornish coastline and Coates Black Friars Gin Distillery. It features 43 guestrooms with individual, classic decor, high ceilings and original features. All include coffee/tea makers, complimentary toiletries, desks, direct-dial phones, wireless Internet access (surcharge) and trouser presses.
The hotel's elegant Executive Restaurant has high ceilings and serves English cuisine featuring seasonal West Country produce, complimented by a varied wine list. Guests can work out in the gym, swim in the pool, relax in the sauna, steam room, solarium and beauty salon, and enjoy a drink in the informal environment of the Regency Bar. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer advice on the area, while other practical amenities include wireless Internet connections and private parking for up to 80 vehicles. The nearby Cornish coastline is host to numerous water sports activities, including jet skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Visitors can head to the National Marine Aquarium, one mile away, while the expanse of Dartmoor National Park is 17 miles distance. Exeter Airport is approximately 100 minutes from the hotel, 50 miles away.

From the airport trains run to Exeter Central Station, where guests can travel to Exeter St David station for trains to Plymouth. Car rentals and taxis are also available at the airport. The area is easily travelled on foot, while a regular bus service serves the area.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A30 to Exeter, and then join the M5 to South-West Plymouth. Take the A38 to Plymouth Marsh Mills, then the A374 and B3240 to Plymouth.
