Location. The Quality Hotel Plymouth has modern architecture and overlooks Plymouth Sound in the maritime city of Plymouth. Smeaton's Tower is 800 metres from the hotel, and the National Marine Aquarium is one mile away. Plymouth railway station is one mile distance, and Plymouth Airport (PLH) is six miles away, an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.
Hotel Features.The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and room service is also available round the clock. There is also a lounge bar which features breathtaking views across Plymouth Sound, while practical amenities include a range of business services, facilities for meetings, dry cleaning services, and complimentary parking.

The Terrace Restaurant offers a menu of modern and traditional choices in a contemporary setting with sea views, and the Terrace Bar serves snacks and drinks.

Guestrooms.The 112 guestrooms, over nine floors, have simple decor and functional furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, dial-up Internet connections, coffee/tea makers, hair dryers and trouser presses. Cribs are available on request.

Expert Tip. Smeaton's Tower, 800 metres from the hotel, was the lighthouse on the notorious Eddystone Rocks for 120 years. It was dismantled and rebuilt on Plymouth Hoe in the 1880s. Visitors can climb the 93 steps for some superb views.

Getting there. Taxis are available at the airport and the fare to the hotel is typically 13 GBP. Many of Plymouth's main attractions can be reached on foot, and the city has a good bus service. The best way to see the surrounding countryside is to hire a car.
