Opened in 2005, the Jurys Inn in Southampton is a multi- storey white building located in the city centre overlooking East Park, one mile from Central Station. The 257 air-conditioned guestrooms feature contemporary decor with blond wood furniture and warm-coloured fabrics. All are equipped with satellite TV with 24-hour news channels, bathrooms with showers and hair dryers, tea and coffee trays, modem points and high-speed Internet connections, and direct-dial phones with voicemail service.
The Jurys Inn offers a choice of dining options; guests can enjoy a modern à la carte menu of European dishes in the restaurant, relax with drinks and pub meals in the bar, or order a take-away cappuccino and croissant from the coffee bar.
At the Jurys Inn, Southampton, those with laptops can work online throughout the public areas thanks to wireless Internet access; dedicated meeting rooms with audio-visual equipment are also available. Multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk can guard valuables in the safe-deposit box and exchange currency. Guests are within walking distance of the city's attractions, such as Bargate, once a heavily defended tollgate, the Museum of Archaeology, and Maritime Museum, housed in a 14th century former wool warehouse. The airport is a ten minute drive from the city centre and four miles from the hotel. Taxis are available on the main concourse opposite the Arrivals hall. The airport is adjacent to Southampton Airport (Parkway) Station; take the train to Central Station (approximate fare is 1.20 GBP), is one mile from the hotel.

Anfahrt

From the airport follow signs for London and Eastleigh. At roundabout take first exit A335 (signposted Southampton). At next roundabout take second exit. At traffic signals go straight on and get in left- hand lane. At next traffic signals turn left (signposted City Centre) and at next traffic signals go straight on. Bear right onto Onslow Road, turn left into Dorset Street and at the roundabout take the first exit onto Charlotte Place, where the hotel is located.
