The Ramada York is a renovated country house situated in six acres of private gardens, located three miles from York Minster and the city's historic sites. The 89 guestrooms are decorated in light colours with functional furnishings. Modern amenities include satellite television with pay movies, telephones with data ports, fax machines, trouser presses, hair dryers, coffee and tea making facilities, and work desks.
Guests can enjoy a range of international food throughout the day in the relaxed setting of the Arts Grill. The hotel houses a cocktail bar, provides complimentary newspapers in the hotel lobby, and has a concierge service on hand to answer queries and give sightseeing assistance. Business guests can make use of the hotel's seven meeting rooms, an extensive range of secretarial services, and hold informal gatherings in Kilby's Club Room; any visitors arriving by car will find complimentary parking onsite. Those wishing to explore the area will find the National Railway Museum and Jorvik Viking Centre are three miles away, Castle Howard is 17 miles away; the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate are both within 20 miles of the hotel. Leeds Bradford Airport is 29 miles away and takes approximately 35 minutes to reach by car.

Anfahrt

Taxis are available from outside the terminal and charge around 14 GBP to Leeds and 12 GBP to Bradford. Regular buses serve the airport, including the 757 Airlink bus service, which links to Leeds city centre and local train stations.
From the airport, exit East onto the local road and turn left onto Whitehouse Lane. At the roundabout, take the third exit for the A658 (Harrogate Road) and continue on this road over the next two roundabouts. At the fourth roundabout take the second exit for the A59 (York Road) and follow this road over the next roundabout. At the further roundabout take the first exit onto the A1237 and at the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A19 (Shipton Road). Turn left onto local roads for the hotel.
