Set on the banks of the majestic River Lee, the Kingsley Hotel is a luxury business hotel one mile from the city centre and six miles from Blarney Castle. The 131 contemporary guestrooms with art nouveau accents and classic dark wood furniture are equipped with full entertainment systems which feature satellite television with pay movies, surround sound, and CD players. Rooms also have direct-dial phones, safes and hair dryers. Guests can go online with complimentary high speed dial-up or wireless Internet access.
Guests can work out with personal trainers, swim laps in the heated pool or take spinning or Pilates classes in the state-of-the-art fitness centre. Weary travellers can unwind in the sauna or visit the Yauvana Spa for a full range of pampering massage, hydro and beauty treatments. Guests can have cocktails in the bar before enjoying dishes prepared by the Swiss chef in a private dining room, whilst guests can also dine in the Otters restaurant serving modern Irish cuisine, or the Sabrona Lounge which serves pub lunches and a traditional Kingsley afternoon tea. Nearby attractions include the Shandon church bells which are 1.5 miles away and the Kinsale golf club which is 20 miles away. Cork International Airport is four miles from the hotel.

Anfahrt

There is a frequent bus service from the airport to the bus station in Parnell Place in Cork city centre. There is also a taxi rank located outside the main terminal. The cost is approximately EUR 17 from the airport to the hotel. Most attractions are accessible on foot from the centre of Cork. Those wanting to go further afield can use the city's bus system. Exploration of the surrounding countryside is best done by car.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the first exit off the roundabout and continue towards the next roundabout. Just before the second roundabout take the slip road off to the left. Continue to Sarsfield roundabout and take the third exit continuing up Sarsfield road to the Wilton roundabout. Take the second exit and drive through two sets of traffic lights. Stay in the left lane and continue on to next set of traffic lights. Turn left on to the Killarney road (N22). The Kingsley Hotel is 200 metres on the right.

have not stayed in any other hotel in cork but this is one of the best if not the best
