Hotel Alla Rocca is housed in a late 18th century building with a pink façade, situated on the edge of the town of Bazzano, approximately 10 kilometres from Bologna. The air-conditioned guestrooms have each been individually decorated in classic style with parquet flooring and a range of colour schemes, some including pieces of original antique furniture. All offer telephones, satellite television, Internet connections, minibars and private bathrooms with marble tiles.
Guests can enjoy drinks and cocktails at the bar, relax with the daily papers or in front of the television in the lobby lounge and make use of wireless Internet access in the hotel's public areas. Art deco-style stained glass, soft up-lighting and crisp white table linen set the tone in the main restaurant room, which serves classic Italian fare and international dishes. Guests can also enjoy themed dinners under the brick vaulted ceilings in the late 18th century tavern, or, in summertime, dine al fresco on the peaceful garden terrace. The front desk is open round the clock and has a safe deposit box for valuables. Central Bologna can be reached by public transport from the town or easily by road. Ferrari lovers are just five kilometres away from the Ferrari Gallery in Maranello, while the Imola Formula One racetrack and Bologna golf club are both within six kilometres away. Bologna airport is 15 kilometres and approximately a 15 minute journey from the hotel. The hotel offers a free airport transfer service on request and according to availability. The ATC Aerobus runs every 15 minutes to Bologna city centre (€4.50, takes 20 minutes). Trains and buses run between Bologna and Bazzano.

From the A13 or A14: Arriving into Bologna, follow signs to Highway A1, direction Firenze, then take the exit "Bologna Casalecchio di Reno". Proceed on the motorway after the toll booth and take the second exit, BAZZANO - VIGNOLA - MARANELLO (SS 569). Follow straight on the SS569 (passing through Crespellano) until the town of Bazzano. Pass through first traffic lights of Bazzano, then after the second traffic light take the first street on the left.
