Location. Manganelli Palace is located in Catania, Sicily, Italy, 50 metres from the restaurants, bars, and shops of Via Etnea, 150 metres from the Roman Amphitheatre at Piazza Stesicoro, and nine kilometres from Catania Fontanarossa Airport.
Hotel Features. Set in a baroque-style building located in Catania's shopping and business district, Manganelli Palace has a 24-hour front desk where staff can offer concierge services, tour assistance, and currency exchange; there is also a safe-deposit box for securing valuables. Room service is available, and there is complimentary wireless Internet access in the air- conditioned public areas. Parking is available nearby for a surcharge.

The Manganelli Bar serves a menu of snacks, drinks, and coffees in baroque surroundings. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served every morning.

Distance to the Manganelli Palace is 9 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. The bus stops near the hotel. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost approximately 20 EUR to the hotel. The closest train station lies 1 kilometre away. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
