Beschreibung

Location. The Egad Resort is located on the volcanic, butterfly-shaped island of Favignana, Italy, in the centre of a 12,000 square metre park with vegetation including acacia and eucalyptus. The resort lies 600 metres from the Lido Burrone beach and one kilometre from the Favignana harbour, from where hydrofoils and boats operate to Trapani.
Hotel Features. The hotel offers a picnic area, barbecue, and nightclub, and a safety-deposit box at the front desk. Staff can assist with booking tours and excursions to sea caves and nearby villages, and complimentary parking is available.

The Egad Resort's Villaggio Egad Restaurant serves Mediterranean and Arabic fusion dishes in relaxed, garden surroundings and the Villaggio Egad bar serves various snacks and drinks. A complimentary buffet breakfast is available; the half-board rate includes breakfast and a three-course dinner.

The hotel has an onsite dive centre and offers sports including aerobics, volleyball, football, bocce, archery, and table tennis.

Guestrooms. The 20 guest cottages have private verandas and Mediterranean-Arabian-style decor with kitchenettes and refrigerators. Two-bedroom cottages have separate living areas and all cottages have private bathrooms with showers. The hotel offers a half-board rate.

From Palermo Airport (PMO):
Distance to Egad Resort is 20 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Buses operate from the airport to Trapani, from where hydrofoils and boats run to Favignana . The hotel offers complimentary transport from the harbour to the hotel. Taxis from the airport to Egad Resort cost around 120 EUR and transport can also be arranged by the hotel (surcharge). All prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Favignana measures about 37 square kilometres and many parts of the island can be explored on foot, by bicycle, and on scooter. Buses run every hour to nearby towns and hydrofoils and boats run to Trapani and take around 30 minutes.
