Beschreibung

Location. The Elisir apartments are located on the island of Trapani in Favignana, Italy, 100 metres from the town centre and 200 metres from the beach. Distance to the ferry to Trapani is 200 metres.
Hotel Features. Built in 2005 in a traditional local design, the two-storey Elisir apartments are surrounded by mature gardens and shady trees. Multilingual staff at the front desk (limited hours) can arrange excursions to sites throughout the island and transportation to and from the airport. Bicycles and scooters can be hired on site. Laundry services are available and food shopping can be arranged. Parking is offered nearby.

Boating, scuba diving, and fishing excursions can be organised nearby.

Apartments. The eight air-conditioned apartments have bright, Mediterranean-style decor with simple modern furniture. All have balconies or sun terraces, separate bedrooms with double beds, and combined living rooms and kitchenettes. Sofabeds provide additional sleeping space. Bathrooms have showers and bidets. Hair dryers are provided.

Expert Tip. Boat hire is available to access the many hidden coves and sea caves strung along the coast. Cala Rossa is a rocky inlet close to a number of tufa quarries with underground corridors that can also be explored.

From Palermo Airport (PMO):
Distance to the Elisir apartments is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Trains run every 20-60 minutes from the airport to Palermo's central station (Stazione Centrale). Single tickets cost 4.50 EUR. A bus runs to Stazione Central and single tickets cost 5 EUR. Buses connect with the ferry service at Trapani. Airport transfer can be arranged in advance, direct to the apartments. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Favignana town can easily be explored on foot. Surrounding areas can be reached by bicycle or scooter.

Driving directions. From Palermo, take Highway A29 to Trapani.
Follow signs to Trapani harbour for the ferry to Favignana.
From the ferry at Favignana, follow the promenade as far as the cross.
Turn right and follow signs to the Elisir apartments.
