Location. The Residence La Contessina is located in Florence, Italy, within 500 metres of the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, and Cathedral Square. Santa Maria Novella train station is 70 metres from the hotel, and Florence Airport is 10 kilometres away.

Getting there. Taxis to the Residence La Contessina cost approximately 25 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. The hotel is 70 metres away. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station.

Follow the signs to the centre/train station.
At the train station, turn right in Adua Squar.
Continue along Via Cennini.
Turn right into Via Faenza to the Residence La Contessina.
