Location. The Hotel Palladio is located on the seafront in Giardini Naxos, Italy. Remains of Sicily's first Greek colony can be found in the centre of Giardini Naxos, 800 metres away. The seaside town of Taormina, with its Greco-Roman theatre, is three kilometres to the north. A bus stop opposite the hotel links Giardini Naxos with neighbouring towns. Hotel Features. The Hotel Palladio was built as a family home in the early 19th century, and utilises local materials such as lava rock and Modica stone. The interior displays many traditional touches, including hand-painted ceramic tiles. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, with multilingual staff providing concierge services. The hotel also features a solarium with a shower, and a small lounge area stocked with books.
A complimentary buffet-style breakfast featuring local produce is served on a veranda overlooking the sea every morning. From April to September, the Bar Blublu serves seafood specialities and Sicilian and Arabian dishes in an informal atmosphere. The drinks menu offers cocktails, wine and aperitifs.
Aerial sightseeing trips and a variety of water sports, including parasailing, windsurfing and diving, are available in the local area. Bicycles, scooters and horses can also be hired.
Guestrooms. The 20 guestrooms at Hotel Palladio are individually decorated in different colours, with tiled floors, original artwork and antique furniture. All are air- conditioning and offer direct-dial telephones, televisions and bathrooms equipped with bidets, showers and complimentary toiletries. Dial-up Internet access is also available (surcharge).
