The Hotel Europa is a family-run hotel in located in historical Ischia Ponte, 300 metres from the beach and 800 metres from Aragon castle. The 34 tiled guestrooms feature nostalgic antique-style decor and furniture and open onto balconies. All are equipped with satellite television, direct-dial phones, ceiling fans and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can enjoy an invigorating dip in the outdoor thermal pool, complete with hydromassage jets, while sun seekers can take in panoramic sea views from the solarium. A range of pampering treatments and massages are available in the beauty salon. In the evenings, guests can relax in front of the fireplace with a book from the library or watch satellite television in the lounge. The Europa restaurant serves Neapolitan specialties and fine local wine, while draught beers are served in the American-themed bar. Multilingual staff are on hand to arrange organised excursions to Pompeii, Napoli and the Amalfi Coast. Nearby attractions include thermal sojourns at the Poisedon Gardens spa on Citara beach, eight kilometres away, and a visit to Sibyl's cave in the Acropolis, 15 kilometres away, which is where the renowned prophetess of the ancient world spoke as an oracle. Napoli Capodichino Airport is 40 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Anfahrt

Alibus shuttle buses and various taxis run from the airport to Napoli Beverello harbour and Mergellina harbour in Naples, where guests can catch a ferry or hydrofoil to Ischia's port. The bus station is just uphill from the port. From here bus number 7 runs past the hotel to Ischia Ponte. Alternatively, guests can catch an open, milk-float-style microtaxi to the hotel for approximately 12 EUR. Ischia is well served by a network of small public buses and numerous taxis and microtaxis. The CD and CS buses are handy for sightseeing as they both circle the island. Bus tickets can be bought at the port kiosk and a single ticket costs approximately 1.20 EUR for 90 minutes' travel, while a two-day ticket is 6 EUR.
