Location. The Hotel il Gelso Bianco is located in Catania, Italy, within six kilometres of the city centre and 15 kilometres from Etnaland amusement park and a zoo. The train station is 10 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Hotel il Gelso Bianco is set in a three-storey building on the outskirts of Catania. Staff are available around the clock to organise airport transport for a surcharge. Complimentary parking is available nearby. There is an outdoor swimming pool with tables covered by sun umbrellas.

Most meals and drinks are complimentary for guests on the all-inclusive rate plan. Guests not on the all-inclusive rate plan will be charged for meals and drinks.

Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 25 EUR to Catania. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
