Location. The Hotel Europa is located in Palermo, on the island of Sicily, Italy, 300 metres from the Piazza Politeama. The Royal Palace and San Giovanni degli Eremiti church are 2.5 kilometres from the hotel. Palermo Central train station is 1.5 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Situated on a quiet street in central Palermo, the Hotel Europa is set in a modern seven- storey building accessible by lift. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with tourist queries. Complimentary newspapers and wireless Internet are available, and room service is offered during restaurant opening hours.

Hotel Europa provides a complimentary buffet breakfast daily in its American Bar and Restaurant, which serves international and local dishes for lunch and dinner.

There is an onsite meeting room holding up to 20 persons.

Guestrooms. Decorated in pastel tones with bright fabrics and dark wood furnishings, the 73 air- conditioned guestrooms all extend to balconies. Amenities include satellite television, wireless Internet access, direct-dial phones, safes, and minibars. Bathrooms include hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Palermo's historic street markets are set in winding streets and are well worth a visit. Vucciria is the most famous, but the smaller markets of Ballaro and Capo also capture the bustling atmosphere of a Moroccan kasbah.

From Palermo Airport (PMO):
Distance to Hotel Europa is 29 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Trains run every 20-60 minutes from the airport to Palermo's central station (Stazione Centrale). Single tickets cost 4.65 EUR. A bus runs to Stazione Central and single tickets cost 5 EUR. Taxis are available and cost approximately 50 EUR to central Palermo, where the hotel is located. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Palermo city centre is compact and best explored on foot. The city and the surrounding areas are served by a network of buses. A car is recommended for exploring more of Sicily.
