Getting there. A complimentary shuttle runs between the hotel and the airport. Public buses depart from the airport for Piazza Italia (in the city centre) and the train station at 2.40 p.m., 5.50 p.m., and 9.50 p.m. Single tickets cost approximately 2.60 EUR. Getting around. Public buses run throughout the city and suburbs of Perugia, with additional services to locations across the region. Lifts and escalators provide easy access to the historic centre's upper levels. Trains link Perugia to Rome, Florence, and Ancona (via Foligno or Terontola). Hiring a car is recommended for exploring the Umbrian countryside.
