Location. The G Hotel is located in Via Pontina, Italy, one kilometre from the centre of Pomezia, and 30 kilometres from Rome. A bus stop directly outside the hotel provides services to Rome and Rome Fiumicino airport is 35 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The G Hotel is a contemporary, smoke-free hotel opening to an open-plan lobby, designed in dark woods, curves, and bright colours. All public areas are air-conditioned and wireless Internet is complimentary throughout. Parking is free and a discount is offered for the nearby fitness centre. Complimentary newspapers are offered in the hotel lobby, where guests can relax with a coffee.

The onsite restaurant, Il Giardino del G, offers Italian and Mediterranean dishes in minimalist, Art Deco surroundings, overlooking the garden. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily.

The business centre is composed of two modular spaces, holding 120 seats. Technical support is supplied and an exhibition space is available.

Guestrooms. The 80 air-conditioned guestrooms offer contemporary, design decor in vibrant colours. Amenities include satellite television with pay movies, DVD players, complimentary wireless Internet, safes, and minibars. Bathrooms have hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Castel Gandolfo, which is 18 kilometres away, is the location for the Pope's summer residence. The 17th century building was originally designed for Pope Urban VIII. The headquarters of the Vatican observatory are located in the village, overlooking Lake Albano.

Anfahrt

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to G Hotel is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive. Rome Ciampino is 14 kilometres away.

Getting there. Whether coming from Rome Fiumicino or Ciampino, take the train to Rome Termini main station. From there, take the underground B line to Laurentina. At the final stop, take the Cotral Bus towards Pomezia or Nettuno. Get off in Montedoro, and the hotel is by the bus stop.

Getting around. Buses go into Rome centre, which is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.

Driving directions. > From Rome Fiumicino, take the A91 toward Roma.
Take the exit toward SS1 and merge onto the A90 circular, south.
Take exit 26 toward Latina.
After 27 kilometres, exit at Pomezia Nord - Zona Industriale.
After 50 metres, the hotel is found on the left.
From Ciampino, head for the A90 circular, and then follow the same directions.
