Zuerst das Positive: Die Lage ist gut, das Hotel liegt nicht direkt an der Straße. Das Personal - insbesondere an der Rezeption - war freundlich und hilfsbereit und verfügte über Englisch- und teilweise auch Deutschkenntnisse. Negativ sind uns folgende Punkte aufgefallen: Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, man konnte problemlos die Gespräche der Zimmernachbarn mithören. Zudem waren während unseres Aufenthaltes viele Schulklassen im Hotel, die zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit über die Flure lärmten. Der Zustand des Zimmers: renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr einfach gehalten, mit wechselndem Angebot (mal gab es Käse oder Schinken, mal nicht...). Schlimmer war jedoch, dass die Tische nicht gesäubert wurden.

es wurde ein mieserables zimmer - keine 4 sterne entsprechend gegeben und sofort ein weitaus besseres zimmer gegeben bei beschwerde. das frühstück lies sehr zu wünschen übrig und die freundlichkeit eines services war nicht gegeben. es gibt aber wirklich auch bessere hotels in rom, somit die einschätzung möglich

Das Hotel hat seine besten Jahre schon hinter sich, was man vor allem an den Zimmern merkt. Diese sind jedoch relativ groß und sauber. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse gut, es gibt sogar Wurst und Käse. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, da die Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms mit dem Bus sehr einfach zu erreichen sind. (Dazu muss man sich allerdings erstmal mit dem Busplan herumärgern) Das Hotel ist aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und ich würde dort auch wieder übernachten.

We found the hotel clean and tidy with very friendly staff. our room was large and airy with large balcony. it takes around 15 minutes to walk to the metro which is a very good service and easy to find your way to most of Roma's sites. the swimming pool was expensive but you do have a choice whether you use it

The biggest disappointment was having to pay 10 euros per person to use the pool, particularly annoying if sightseeing all day and only wanting a quick dip after say 3pm. My other complaint being that although there was a mini kitchen in the room, no cutlery, crockery, pans etc and without a kettle couldn't even boil water. Prices in the cafe and restaurant very expensive but that goes with the territory. Otherwise - brilliant place to stay!

The hotel is not what the pictures show. The room was very dirty so that we would not walk around the room without shoes. The bathroom worse with mold. We asked for a different room. They gave us one and the room was a little cleaner, but the bathroom was worst with more mold. Location is extremely far from all of the major sites in Rome. We stayed for the pool, but they charge a large price per person to use the pool, even for guests. We thought the negative reviews were from people with less travel experienced outside of the US. Believe what you read. Do Not stay here!

Distance to Metro/resturants (including McDonalds)/grocery: Caution - "a few steps" really means a 1/2 mile hike on a 24 inch sidewalk with extremly heavy traffic at your side. Very dangerous.

Just got back from long weekend in Rome with our two children 14 and 12. The hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located near to the metro and bus station. The family room was very spacious and had a really nice large balcony. The restaurant was quite limited and the breakfast basic but what you would expect. Disappointed there was no tea making facilities in the room but apart from that very good and would definitely use again.
