Beschreibung

Location. The elegant Hotel Quirinale is located 500 metres from Quirinale Palace in central Rome, Italy. The hotel is within 800 metres of the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum and Villa Borghese. The Spanish Steps are one kilometre from the hotel, and Stazione Termini railway station is 800 metres away.
Hotel Features. Hotel Quirinale is set in a late 19th-century building which still retains its Imperial splendour. The lobby features a fireplace, unique oil paintings and antique interiors. The hotel has a garden and has its own private entrance to the Opera House next door. Concierge staff can assist with sightseeing tours, ticket booking and restaurant reservations. Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel, and airport transportation is available (surcharge).

Rossini Restaurant features high ceilings, gilt mirrors and chandeliers. The restaurant serves regional and Italian cuisine in an elegant dining room, or in the adjoining garden. Cocktails, sandwiches and pasta are on offer in the Green Bar, which has live piano recitals. Complimentary buffet breakfasts are served, and room service is available.

The hotel has meeting and conference rooms, a ballroom and a business centre.

Guestrooms. Hotel Quirinale's 216 air-conditioned guestrooms feature cream-coloured interiors, wooden floors, high ceilings and antique curios. All rooms have wireless, high-speed and television Internet access, satellite television, minibars and safes. Bathrooms offer bath/shower combinations and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. The bars and cafes of Campo de Fiori provide lively nightlife one kilometre from the hotel.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to Hotel Quirinale is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. The station is 800 metres from the hotel. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. The hotel can also arrange airport transport. A private limo costs about 68 EUR from the airport to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is on Via Nazionale. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. Parking is available near the hotel (surcharge).
