Location. The Residenza Domizia is located in the warren of ancient streets in the Centro Storico district of Rome, Italy, 80 metres from Piazza Navona, 150 metres from the Pantheon, and 300 metres from Vatican City. The nearest metro station is Spagna, 500 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Occupying an 18th-century building, the Residenza Domizia features beamed ceilings and original features. Complimentary Internet access is available, and multilingual staff at the front desk can provide tour assistance and secure valuables in the safe- deposit box. There is a massage-treatment room, and room service is available.

A complimentary Italian breakfast is served daily.

Antiquarius, the hotel's own art gallery, is a short walk away and houses both modern and ancient artworks. Guests can make the most of a five per cent discount on any purchase

Guestrooms. Set on one floor, the 10 air- conditioned guestrooms all have light decor with colourful fabrics, dark-wood antique-style furnishings, and parquet floors. Amenities include complimentary Internet, satellite television, direct-dial phones, and minibars. Bathrooms include bathrobes, complimentary designer toiletries, slippers, and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. In 1580, the great French moralist and writer Montaigne could be found drinking and ruminating in the Hostaria dell'Orso, which remains, on V. dell'Orso, just 200 metres from the hotel.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to Residenza Domizia Rome is 25 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is approximately 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. From Termini, take a metro train to Spagna, which is 500 metres from the hotel, or board Termini Bus 70 and alight at Piazza Zanardelli. Taxis to the city centre cost approximately 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Price is subject to change. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.

nicht beeindruckt

beim ankunft im hotel war niemand da und die hotel war zu.keine kontakt tel.nr. das fruhstück wurde auf die andere gebaude serviert.
