Location. The Alla Giudecca hotel is located in Siracusa, Italy, on the island of Ortigia. The hotel is within 30 metres of the sea, 100 metres from the cathedral, and 400 metres from Plemmirio Marine Park.
Hotel Features. Housed in a medieval building, the Alla Giudecca hotel features traditional decor with marble flooring, stone arches and rich fabrics. Guided tours are offered of the ancient Mique, a Jewish ritual bath, which is found in the hotel basement and dates from the Byzantine era. Babysitting and childcare services are available.

Complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily at the hotel and there is a bar serving drinks.

Meeting and conference rooms are available for business guests. Complimentary Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. The Alla Giudecca hotel's 24 air-conditioned guestrooms feature lounges, kitchenettes and terraces with panoramic views. Decor is classical with white walls, wooden beamed ceilings, marble floors and wooden furnishings. From Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA):
Distance to Alla Giudecca hotel is 55 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Buses also run directly to Syracuse. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 100 EUR to the Alla Giudecca hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.

Driving directions. Depart Catania airport.
Take Statal Street (SS 114-Orintale Sicula) towards Siracusa.
Go past the exit for Siracusa Nord and take the next exit.
At the city, follow signs for Ortigia.
Cross over the bridge.
Continue along to Via Alagona to the Alla Guidecca Residence Hotel.
