Location. The Hotel Como is a Mediterranean- style property with a pastel yellow façade set in the heart of Siracusa. It is located 800 metres from the historic city centre with its archaeological monuments including the Greek Theatre and Roman Amphitheatre. Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA) is 35 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 50 minutes.
Hotel Features. Guests can wake up to a complimentary buffet breakfast and complimentary newspapers and magazines are available in the lobby. The hotel bar is open round the clock and room service is also available 24-hours. Staff can organise guided tours and obtain tickets for performances at the Greek Theatre, 800 metres from the hotel. Guests are offered discounted rates at a nearby fitness centre and there is a parking garage nearby.

Guestrooms. Hotel Como offers 20 air- conditioned guestrooms located on two floors, all of which have colourful modern decor with classic Italian artworks and tiled floors and include cable television, direct-dial phones, complimentary dial-up Internet access, coffee/tea making facilities and minibars. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. A short distance from the hotel there are plenty of local restaurants offering a range of regional cuisine. In the town there are a few little markets and a traditional fish market.

Getting there. From the airport a direct bus service offered by Interbus operates to Siracusa. Siracusa is connected to Catania and Taormina by an hourly train service. The town of Siracusa is easily explored on foot. A hire car would be useful for trips further afield.

Driving directions. From the airport - Take the Highway 114 and exit at Siracusa Sud.

There is a lot of antic UNESCO prtected attraktions in the area - look it up on the net!!
