Location. The Hotel Panorama is located in Syracuse, Italy, within two kilometres of the beach and three kilometres from Ortygia Island. The bus stop is within 300 metres and the train station is three kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Hotel Panorama is set near the city centre and within 700 metres of a Greek Amphitheatre, where plays are held throughout the year. Multilingual staff are available around the clock in the air-conditioned lobby to arrange airport transport for a surcharge. Complimentary parking is available.

A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily in Restaurant Agatocle. Bar Agatocle opens on the top floor overlooking a garden and archaeological ruins.

The hotel offers the use of a meeting room and dial-up Internet access is available for a surcharge.

Hotel Panorama offers the use of a nearby fitness centre to guests for a discount.

Guestrooms. Hotel Panorama offers 49 air-conditioned guestrooms extending to balconies. There is a computerised alarm system in each guestroom and an electronic safe. Guestrooms feature satellite television with premium channels, minibars, makeup mirrors and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime, the Our Lady of Tears shrine, is within one kilometre of the hotel. There are two museums available to visit with unique items relating to the shrine.

From Catania Fontanorossa Airport (CTA):
Distance to Hotel Panorama is 60 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A bus departs from Catania airport and stops 300 metres from Hotel Panorama. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 50 EUR to Syracuse. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. Buses run throughout Syracuse. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.

Driving directions. From Catania airport.
Follow the signs for Siracusa, along SS 114 and exit at Siracusa Belvedere.
Continue in the direction of Siracusa for approximately six kilometres.
