Location. The Clarion Sea Lion Hotel was renovated in 2003 and stands on its own private sandy beach overlooking the Adriatic Sea, 500 metres from Montesilvano's Warner Village. Pescara Airport is ten kilometres away and can be reached by car in around 20 minutes. Hotel Features. The hotel's private sandy beach features lifeguards, sun beds and parasols, and an outdoor pool complete with a separate pool for children. The wellness centre offers Power Plate fitness equipment, a hydro-massage bath, a Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. A range of massage and beauty treatments are also available. Staff at the 24- hour front desk can arrange transport to and from the airport, (surcharge) provide room service and lock valuables in the hotel safe. The Clarion Sea Lion Hotel's restaurant features wooden floors and white linen-topped tables, and affords panoramic sea views. The menu includes Italian and local Abruzzo dishes, including Adriatic seafood, accompanied by selected wines. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers a buffet breakfast every morning. After-dinner drinks are served in the Sea Lion Bar, which is situated in the centre of the hall and offers sea views.
The private, sandy beach offers pedal boats and canoes, an adventure playground for children, a baby club and a nursery cabin with a baby-changing unit.
Guestrooms. The 74 air-conditioned guestrooms over eight floors feature modern decor with light coffee and cream tones and open onto balconies. Amenities include 21-inch televisions with pay movies, direct-dial phones, high-speed TV and wireless Internet access (surcharge), minibars and safes. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, makeup mirrors and designer toiletries.
Expert Tip. The Warner Village, which is 500 metres from the hotel, offers 11 cinema screens and a number of restaurants, pizzerias and shops.
